St Nectans Residential Care Home, part of Vila Healthcare, is dedicated to supporting our local community and enhancing the wellbeing of older people across Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings, and St Leonards-on-Sea. Each year, we offer three small-grant programmes with a total annual fund of £500. These grants are designed to help local individuals, groups, and organisations making a positive difference, particularly in the realm of personalized home care.

March – Community Wellbeing Micro-Grant (£150)
Supporting projects that improve the wellbeing, inclusion, or quality of life of older people.
Examples:
• Social clubs or befriending groups
• Community events for older residents
• Small equipment for elderly activities
• Transport support for isolated individuals
Eligibility:
• Based in Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings or St Leonards-on-Sea
• Project must directly benefit people aged 65+
• Clear community impact
Reporting:
• Short update within 8 weeks
• Photos or evidence (if appropriate)
• Summary of how funds were used
July – Local Support & Neighbourhood Fund (£150)
Helping individuals or small groups providing essential support to vulnerable or elderly residents.
Examples:
• Emergency household support
• Community food or essentials projects
• Volunteer groups supporting vulnerable adults
Eligibility:
• Located in Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings or St Leonards-on-Sea
• Demonstrated financial need or community benefit
• Non-profit use of funds
Reporting:
• Brief summary of impact
• Receipts or proof of expenditure
• Short statement on outcomes
November – Elderly Enrichment & Activities Fund (£200)
Funding activities or resources that enrich the lives of older people.
Examples:
• Arts, music, or reminiscence sessions
• Outings or special events
• Activity materials for elderly groups
• Equipment that enhances wellbeing
Eligibility:
• Benefits people aged 65+
• Delivered within Bexhill-on-Sea, Hastings or St Leonards-on-Sea
• Clear enrichment or wellbeing outcome
Reporting:
• Short report or testimonial
• Photos or participant feedback (with consent)
• Summary of results
